this might be interesting, it is basically converting some stories from the thirty years war (1618-1648) into actual stories reading like fiction.

this is a sentimental story of a fisherman and his wife, and their children. they live peacefully in their little cottage until one day the river overflows and the strong current rolls through the village. while he and his neighbors all get out safe and sound, there is a signal of distress given from the baron's castle, and anton must dare the rescue, with only his little foster daughter louisa to help him...
