The sign of flame
by Werner, E., 1838-1918

this is interesting. e. werner was a german author, the uncrowned queen of ladies literature in germany in teh 1880s-1900s. many of her books appeared in translation, but we havent got any of them yet.

this book is interesting, concerning a young man falkenried, whose parents are divorced and his mother is returning after years to see her son again, throwing the young man's life into disarray.
