this book is exactly what the title says: an american schoolgirl goes over to moscow. the book was published in 1911, and so it takes place between the two russian revolutions (1905/1917). nina, a 15 year old girl, travels to moscow and witnesses the landscape, architecture, culture, and customs. plenty of adventures, naturally.
