Thanks for posting this list. I'm going to tackle Black Magic as a solo project! *gulps*

Excellent pick! Thank you for selecting/adopting it, I can't wait to listen to it when it's finished :9:

I'd like to take on a few of these. I'll adopt "The Moribund" (Maupassant) to start. Thanks for the great list!

Twenty-Five Ghost Stories by W. Bob Holland
http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/53419

entirely possible that we have all of those stories already in collections, but it is a nice selection.

Another recommendation, although this is technically occult fiction designed to instruct its reader about ritual magick and other occult practices.

With the Adepts: an Adventure Among the Rosicrucians:

Henry James's The Third Person is on your 'unrecorded' list, but it seems to have been added to the catalog a couple of years ago.

Thanks for letting me know :) I had a few I needed to take off the list and now they are removed. If anybody notices any that have been recorded that are still on the list please let me know.

Thanks for letting me know Carolin! Excellent choice, I'm glad to see that Barry Pain's horror/weird literature is finally getting into the catalog :9:

I'd like to record The Red Hand by Arthur Machen. I'll be working my way through the instructions for solo recordings unless you know of someone else working on this. Thanks!

Is this an ambitious one? I think so, but I never do things by halves.

But I'm surprised the Dunwich horror isn't on the list, it's on the Gutenberg page now..(sorry claimed by me if it's not already been done so)

Dunwich Horror has already been recorded for Librivox and so has all the rest of the PD Lovecraft Stories, that's why he is not on this list.
