Oh well bugger...back to the drawing board...I think...kadath wrote:Dunwich Horror has already been recorded for Librivox and so has all the rest of the PD Lovecraft Stories, that's why he is not on this list.

You can still do Dunwich or any of the other PD Lovecraft again though, choice of voice. As long as it's in the public domain. Also consider doing one of the stories that influenced Lovecraft, one of his favorites that are still unrecorded. Still hoping someone records "Fishead" by Cobb it's one of the stories that influenced Lovecraft's "The Shadow over Innsmouth."

I would very much enjoy taking on "Phantom!" Could an admin (or someone in the know) direct me as to how I go about making this an official Librivox project?

This. *This!* is a true treasure!
I'm a new reader, listener, still working on sound issues before recording.
In the meantime, I'm practicing pieces for which I've signed up and discovering new material.
This wonderful list will save me time and delight me.
Thank you to all who contributed and especially to they who organized this list!

It depends - if it's a short story then in the current Short Ghost and Horror collection which is viewtopic.php?f=19&t=69453 as per the link in the first post. If it fills before you are ready then 32 will be opened

I was poking around through HathiTrust and Archive.org this morning and found some titles that might be of interest:
- The Blood of the Vampire, by Florence Marryat
https://catalog.hathitrust.org/Record/100227220?
- The Dead Man's Message, by Florence Marryat
https://archive.org/details/deadmansmessageo00marr
- The Feast of Bacchus, by Ernest G. Henham
https://catalog.hathitrust.org/Record/100324507
- The Spring Song, by Forrest Reid

I also made a post a while agoabout Olivia Shakespeare’s Beauty’s Worth. That one might be short, but it definitely qualifies.
