Not PD for me, but this looks a tasty bit of literary history. St. John Greer Ervine (1883-1971) was born in Northern Ireland but moved to London in his teens. He later wrote an award-winning biography of G. B. Shaw.
This book, published in 1922, has chapters on A. E. (George Wiliam Russell), Arnold Bennett, G. K. Chesterton, John Galsworthy, George Moore, Bernard Shaw, H. G. Wells and W. B. Yeats.
