Megda by forget-me-not (Emma Dunham Kelley).
Note: author died in 1938. However, I haven't found any etext which I am sure is in the public domain.
From skenning it for a while, I can tell you that this book is really amazing. It's written in a high level of english (not very high, don't let this deter you.) But it struck me that the contants is so very interesting. I really think this book deserves a collaborative recording. But if you want to take it as a solo, please do so. I will dpl anyway (if you want). I know three things about this book:
1. It starts in a school room.
2. It has to do with black and white people in the USA.
3. Part of the plot dealls with courtship.
