I love children's books, especially series, and I'm sure I'm not the only LibriVox listener/reader to feel that way! Also LibriVox recordings work so well when traveling with a child. (And no carsickness from reading!) I think the older books for children often provide a more "nutritious" alternative to contemporary kids fiction. Much of the kid lit available is great but some is TV/Movie/Merchandise driven.
