Hi all,

I've suggested a book on the link between Modern Psychology and Alchemy in the New Projects Launch Pad, but not sure whether i should've suggested it here first? If so, i request an admin person to advise me, and i'll remove it from there. Otherwise, i'd also like to gauge interest here.

Thanks,
vira

The Launch Pad are for new works you're going to do. Are you going to coordinate this one, or are you only suggesting it?

If you're only suggesting it, I'll move the thread over here. (Only admins can move threads.) :)

If you want to coordinate it, then you can leave it there. You don't have to suggest something before starting it as a project.

Hi Tricia, that was a bit of a grey area, so thanks for clearing it up. I thought i'd remove it if necessary, but didn't know the post could be moved, as it stands, to this forum.

I'm quite happy to BC. At the same time i'd like to check here whether there's enough interest, as this isn't a particularly easy project, albeit it most interesting. Quantum Physicists are now discovering what the sages of old knew and have been saying for centuries! :!:

Best wishes,
V

The text itself is here: http://www.gutenberg.org/files/27755

The project was moved from the Launch Pad to On Hold (an admin-only "holding tank") until Vira is ready to BC it.

Hi Vira,
This project sounds interesting. I suppose I could PL a few chapters when it gets started...

Here is a link directly to the book (the Gutenberg link above goes to the file directory, which can be confusing, and the book is cataloged in PG under its german title so it's hard to find via index search on author too -- it looks like a non-English one would be the only one available.)

Welcome, Noelboo!

At over 100,000 words not including the end notes, this is too big a project for a new soloist. :)

Suggested steps to LibriVox:
1) Do the 1-minute test.
2) Participate in at least a couple group projects, to get a feel for how much work it is to record and edit.
3) THEN think of doing a solo. ;)
