on Great Britain -- History -- Elizabeth, 1558-1603 -- Juvenile fiction This is an absolutely charming book for young ladies. It has everything, It's set in England, and has Queens, Princes, Fencing, Sailing ships, adventure and the intrigue at a royal Court ! It would make a fantastic group project. I think lots of people would want to read a part of it. I know I would gladly read a part. If someone wants it for a solo here it is ! Help yourself. Or if done as a group project I would happliy proof listen it and read some of the parts. I searched the Librivox catalog and didn't see it there so I don't believe it's been done. I think we should do some more books for young people. It's very old, published in 1904 : (I'm just throwin 'em out there. I won't be offended if we don't do them ! )

This book does sound wonderful. But it usually helps to send a link to the etext. It's at:

I would gladly adopt it, Tudor crazy that I am! The Illustrator died in 1947. Does it metter something to the librivox recording? If someone elce wants to bc this, it is fine with me.

Love gothic novels? Try Children Of The Abbey. Like surprising mysteries? Try The Amathist Cross. Looking for an easy read? Try Harriet's Choice.

If I understood it right (and I am quite sure I did) the death date of the illustrator only matters if the illustrations get used (for the cover for instance). If not, then it is fine!
