hope leslie by Catharine Maria Sedgwick,
Undoubtfuly a very popular novel upon it's publication in 1827, this novel combines femenist ideas and a diffrint prspective about native americans inside an adventure story. Would you like to take a part in recording it? Can you help me to find a good etext for this novel?

I'm a brand new reader, but I would love to be a part of this project. This novel is a common part of early American literature syllabi, and I would love to see it become more accessible!

FYI, It's not a project yet. It needs to get a Book Coordinator (or soloist), who will "launch" it and shepherd it through the recording process. It could take days, or it could take years for a coordinator or soloist to decide to start this particular book.

It might be best to look in the Readers Wanted forums and see what looks interesting there. Those are projects in progress, and they need readers. Holler if you have questions. Have fun!
