I was just reading an article on how this weekend marks the 150th anniversary of John Brown's raid on the Federal armory at Harpers Ferry, and it struck me that this would be an interesting topic for Librivox to cover. Googling turned up several works on the subject.

The record of John Brown's trial:

This same site has a number of other primary sources, including Brown's proposed constitution, Robert E. Lee's official report on the insurrection, and the records of the Senate's investigation:

Another site has several magazine articles from the 1880s recounting the raid:

The trial records and the Senate's investigation are long enough to be projects in their own right, but the other pieces could be combined into a collection.
Anyone interested?
