This book sounds so wonderful. I saw a summary of it and loved it very much. It surtenly deserves to appear in the foramat of a librivox recording. It's about an american woman who decide that she has to live in India and improove the women's situation there. I am giving you a link to the page about Rudyard Kipling from the university of adelaide. You can find the etext there:

Are you interested to record this book? If you do, please let me know. If there will be a few people interested, I would be more than happy to start this book as a collaborative project.
Stav.

Love gothic novels? Try Children Of The Abbey. Like surprising mysteries? Try The Amathist Cross. Looking for an easy read? Try Harriet's Choice.

Gutenberg Australia has a plain text version you may find easier to work with:

Kipling is always a good selection! :)

It's not on main Project Gutenberg, but here's a copy from Internet Archive that is from the American Libraries collection and PD in the United States (published 1892).
