I have been digging and trying to find out if "The Waxwork" by A.M. Burrage is in PD or not? Its a short story, I see it's all over the net but I couldn't find a publication date or find it on gutenberg. Any help would be appreciated.

Goodreads pegs it as published in 1931. If that's the case, it'll be PD on January 1, 2027.

EDIT: ISFDB (Internet Speculative Fiction Database) also has it as 1931, with info on where it was published:

It looks like he's got a bunch of other short stories published in 1926 and earlier, if one could find the texts: http://www.isfdb.org/cgi-bin/ea.cgi?6518
School fiction: David Blaize
America Exploration: The First Four Voyages of Amerigo Vespucci
Serial novel: The Wandering Jew
