Re: OPEN [poetry] The Spook Ballads by Wm Theodore Parkes -c
Is it appropriate to ask for feedback on my reading of 28 - 'The Abdicated Crown' ('An Abdicated Crown' in the MW)? For reading humorous/nonsense poetry (both of which I am very partial to) that's the kind of reading I'm aiming at. But, I'd like to hear (honest) opinions of how they sound to other p...

https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/misanthrope_dubois_4.mp3 2m00s Note that I added a number of 'bumbling around' sounds which aren't in the script (except as a general stage direction) but which the editor can use if they want to. I presume they won't be used but thought it best to add them just i...

Re: RePosting old contributions
Just curious here; sorry if I'm butting in.
As it's OK to re-record something that someone else has recorded before, is it OK to re-record something that you yourself has recorded before, but as a new recording? Not replacing the old one, but being a brand new Librivox 'edition'?

Though, I did make sure I recorded some 'anonymous' and 'traditional' as extra recordings with the same mic and environment in case I...
