Thanks, Joe! Feel free to proof them by the text (thought-for-thought - a word might be wrong, but if it doesn't change the meaning of the passage, then let it go; if it DOES change the meaning or confuse the listener, let me know) if you would like. If you don't, then don't.

Oh! Okay, thanks! :D As long as someone PL's my sections...

I won't be able to double check your edits, Joe, until Tuesday.

I started to record chapter 11, but it's got a good amount of both Greek and French in it. I am pretty wretched with both those languages.

Either someone else is welcome to claim it, or I'll need LOTS of help to make it sound halfway correct.

Yeah, I just realized that "the said day" would mean that and not what I said in my other post. As for the pounds/shillings/pence reading, I'll do it Ruthie's way. I've already recorded it and don't feel like changing it (ha ha), and I doubt children will listen to the 4th chapter o...

THANK YOU!

I think I'll read it "said day" - perhaps it means something like "the stated day" for buying such things! 8-)

(If it's any help, this was supposedly from some diary concerning someone in Glasgow, so it was Scottish instead of English.)

Thanks for the offer. annise is currently my proof listener but she may like to share or give it over to you. I don't really mind who does the proofing for me.
Okay. In that case I'll just wait until it's catalogued. 8-)

I saw there was a wiki page designated for PL advice/tips, but no info is in it. :? I'm a newbie PL'er (and reader, if truth be known). Generally I open the file in Real Player, then have the original text open and a Notebook page open. I have the Real Player as small as I can and still see the time...

I'm a newbie, too. :D (I signed up in July but didn't start doing anything until this month.) I started out with some shorter, easier stuff, though. LOL! Yeah, I've found that a fresh pair of ears brings forth errors more easily. Familiarity with the text breeds... a chance of missing mistakes. 8-) ...

Section 3 (Chapt 2 pt 2): ID Tags: Title needs the chapter title added (should be "02 - The Apostolic Church") - On mine I put the title then "pt 1" or "pt 2" to indicate part 1 or part 2. I don't know if this is correct or standard, but a thought. Author entered as Sa...

May I be DPL on this project? And if so, what kind of PL do you want? (I generally do read along, so I don't space out, LOL, but I do try to post only the word changes that change the meaning.)
