It's entirely up to you how close to perfect you try to make it. The difficulty with patching in corrections is the perceptible change at each end of the patch. Firstly, you should generally patch a complete sentence rather than a word or phrase, so the change is masked by the break in content ... y...

I'm in the north east - Snaresbrook. We could put suggestions for readings here, too .. with suggested number of readers, too? I suppose we're aiming for perhaps 4-6 hours of recording ... and to complete the work/s in one session.

Yes, I'm fine for this .. and can host. It'd be interesting to choose works which are appropriate to the number of readers. We could also encourage each other to play with our voices .. thinking of it, perhaps LV could have a wiki collection of audition pieces in different voices and accents?

Betsie

Yes, if it weren't for the sake of completeness, I'd miss those last three stories out altogether. But the author must have liked them, so I assume there may be some readers who might, too. I'm downloading as I write this. Thank you very much,

Chapter Nine slipped through the net, so kymmz has offered to do it. That's all that needs to be done.

Catherine, Cori's Chapter Seven has been done. I've not used this system before .. where can I find details of how to edit it?

You can see the download figures by going to the archive page (via our catalogue or from www.archive.org and searching ... librivox or "Green Odyssey" (or however it's spelt). There are download figures and percentages given, but I've never investigated to find out exactly what they mean. ...

A group of four of us played Call of Cthulhu for over ten years a while back .. I've never touched D&D, as I was put off by the enormous structure of rules. Chthulhu is more free-flowing; a lot of decisions are made by discussion .. or occasionally by the GM/DM explaining his/her decision or say...

I'm happy to sing/read an occasional one. Greensleeves? PD checking's going to be interesting .. or are you just going to look for PD collection's first. John Masefield did some sea shanty collections, I think, but finding the PD tunes will take some searching. I think that's going to be the hard pa...

Local transport is good enough that I'm easily accessible ... north east edge of London, at the margins of what's misleadingly called Epping Forest. But if there should be more than perhaps eight or so of us, I do know a place in central London where we could rent a discussion room fairly cheaply .....
