Hi Erin, If you listen to those files on headphones you can hear a bit more high frequency noise without the blanket. A blanket won't completely attenuate the low frequencies, but it gives a good indication of what's going on. As you say, there isn't much difference which tells us that most of the n...

Hi Erin, I agree with Ruth; 22dB of noise reduction is an awful lot, and that's bound to affect the audio quality. Hi Peter, I think all Kindles show the same thing. The problem is that the Kindle version of some books seem to have poor quality illustrations (or omit them completely) compared with the paper versions. It's a fairly common complaint among readers.
