Yes, I'm recording on a PC using WavePad, but until now I've been using a USB microphone. USB can cause all sorts of problems, and my PC does have very good onboard audio, so I'm looking forward to seeing if an analog condenser mic will improve things a bit. I'm not able to spend a tremendous amount...

Okay my one minute test is complete and apparently passed I will be receiving a condenser mic tomorrow which should be even better, so I will use whichever one produces the best result. Do I need to post the link to my one minute test here, or what is the next step for me? Thanks,
