OK, The part of Isabel consists of two spoken solo lines and a handful of daughter lines as well as chorus for all the songs that the daughters are present in. If someone would like this part let me know. I could do it -- or, if you do need to replace Kate, I could do that instead (the one singing ...

Re: WAR OF THE ROSES: 1 Henry IV by William Shakespeare - N

Lastly - I'll put the call out now. I'll need two women who speak fluent French for Henry V - Princess Katherine and Alice. Off topic, but I keep meaning to mention this, and since you're asking about it now, I studied French for fourteen years and am, I think, quite competent in it, so I'd be happ...

I just want to say RAH! for having people who can handle the Welsh-language bits! Not least because it means that msirois and I now get to do that fun dialogue that accompanies it... ;)

Those links all appear to be broken, sadly... When I did this play before we used a series of variations on the well-known Elizabethan tune "Fortune my foe" for 5.5, and the other well-known Elizabethan tune "Bonny Sweet Robin" for the closing credits, and both are suitably melan...

Another pronunciation question, actually -- did you have a preference for the modern or the Elizabethan pronunciation of Hereford (the latter being something like Herford or possibly Harford )? When I did this play before I had the cast use the Elizabethan pronunciation and later sort of regretted i...

I know nothing about your suggested music sources, but I thought I'd point out that my offer to help out with the music for 5.5 still stands; I know a ton of songs that are in period... :)

And as far as that last bunch of lines... I did download them, but I'm not sure I can use them. I think (I'll check) that they are in the same scene as another character you are reading... and I want to stray away from that as much as possible to avoid any confusion. Shoot me a PM and let me know w...

Also - we have slightly differed on the pronunciation of Aumerle and some locales (i.e. Gloucester, Leicester, etc.). It doesn't bother me all that much, but if ppl can let me know if those sound glaring now would be the time to fix them. I apologize for being a loudmouthed and pedantic newcomer bu...

Damn -- I think the popping has to do with the cord on the mic moving around oddly. I have taped it up and that seems to help; I'll try rerecording. You don't need to link back to dsproductions.org in the wiki (I am wondering who is the person to ask about getting linked in the audiolit projects sec...

Okay, I took a shot at recording Henry Vaughan's "Corruption" because weird seventeenth-century religious poetry needs more love. There is an e-text of the poem here -- this was remarkably hard to find, irritatingly. See what I mean about needing more love? Anyway, this is my first LibriVo...

Okay, here's a shot at Bushy's lines (the second act has a couple of false starts on the "Each substance of a grief hath twenty shadows" speech). I hope there isn't as much noise on these: what it might be is the very loud fan on my desktop, and I'm not sure I can get rid of that entirely,...

No problem! I know you've got narration to cover most of the effects, but in this particular case, the music really needs to be there. But I shall wait for our esteemed coordinator.

(btw, we are apparently neighbors! I'm in St. Louis, too.)
