Re: [GRP/HUMOR] My Lady Nicotine, by J. M. Barrie - tg

Thank you, but I’ve just had something come up that I need to attend to, so I don’t think I will be able to do any new recordings for the next few weeks & will need to relinquish. I don’t want to hold up this project, but I apologize for the short notice. That's okay. THANK YOU for letting me k...

Re: ~[GROUP-SCHOOL FICTION] David Blaize by E. F. Benson - tg

Thank you Tricia...I would be happy to appear in the catalogue as Simon Wiltshire. Since it is my first time, I will certainly follow your suggestion and do the one minute test. Great! Here's your catalog page: https://librivox.org/reader/19454 When you click on Reader Section Details, you can see ...

Re: ~TikTok: Collected Reports by Various

I won't be MC'ing this, partly because it's not PD for me. Regarding the collection: just like any other collection, you'll need to enter the section metadata into the MW when you get one. Re: Librivox-required settings for all recordings (including 1-minute test) in Audacity 3.4.2

I suggest posting a new thread/topic asking that, so that this thread doesn't get cluttered with your individual issue. :) A bonus is that you'll probably get more eyes on your question than you would in here. EDIT: Oh, I see you already have! https://forum.librivox.org/viewtopic.php?p=2322044#p2322...

24.2 is dead silence. If you're hearing static, it's not from the recording. Perhaps it's from your speakers, or the wires going to your speakers.

Or, are you hearing the static in your vocals that isn't in the end silence?

Re: Weekly/Fortnightly Poetry Suggestions

In the meantime (or in case it's not used as a weekly/fortnightly), you could always submit it in the short poetry collection! The current one will be wrapping up next week.

I just did. :) The Gutenberg text is clearly PD, so that could be used as the weekly or fortnightly poem. 8-)

Re: Weekly/Fortnightly Poetry Suggestions

OK, we'd need to find a clearly PD version of that. (Just because it's freely available on some website doesn't mean it's PD. It may have been altered from its original form, etc.) I found that version in this work: https://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/62474 Actually, there are 3 versions of the ballad ...

Do you have a link to it?

Re: Audacity start and stop lines on my track

Argh! I greatly dislike when they significantly change things! Yes, I'm still back on 2.4.2.
