Re: ~Solo - The Book of Common Prayer, 1662: selections

I'll pick this up for you [. . .] Anne Hi Anne I'm not sure what needs to be done when this comes up for cataloguing, but thought I should mention in case it's relevant that the keywords and summary have been amended since the project was initially set up. The latest text is in the (modified) first...

Section 3 is PL OK. :)
I've uploaded the last one (at long last) for PL: the Preface.

EDIT: I forgot that this is the first section that needs the full LV opening. I'll fix and re-upload shortly.
SECOND EDIT: Corrected version uploaded, and really ready for PL now :)

Re: OPEN[PLAY]Fanny and the Servant Problem by Jerome - thw

I just listened to the rest of the stage directions. I listed out each instance of an abbreviation that should be read out fully. Most of them should be able to be fixed with a quick cut-and-paste, I think. There's only one note besides those. A small change, but significant, I think. Not so very q...

Re: OPEN[Play] Overruled by George Bernard Shaw - thw

Here's Shaw's preface. A bit of its time, of course, but I thought very interesting. Hypocrisy doesn't seem to have lessened much since then – just moved into slightly different areas.

Re: [Play] A Family Man by John Galsworthy-mas

Hi Michele Not sure where we are with the Google docs, as they seem to be very similar to the original text. Were you doing to pull out some of the actors' lines where they are embedded within the stage directions? Here are the wrongly-formatted lines I noticed on a quick read through, referring in ...

Re: Solo - The Book of Common Prayer, 1662: selections- ans

Hi Pattymarie, here's section 3 for PL: Prayers and thanksgivings.

Seems apt to include the prayer "In the time of any common Plague or Sickness"

Hi Michael I will sign you up when I have the MW. Yes I noticed myself that there were a lot of errors. Wondered whether it might be worth converting them to Google docs so I can correct the errors.
That might be useful. Either that or more effort from the DPL :)

Re: [Play] A Family Man by John Galsworthy

If you're accepting readers already, I'll volunteer to narrate.

Everyone's going to need to read the stage directions carefully, as there are a lot of actors lines that have been wrongly typeset within them. :(
