Sections 48, 51, 52 and 57 are all PL Ok, and greatly pleasurable to hear.

Thank you for your contributions, David.
They add greatly to the body of this recording.

That's right. Get the keywords down as often as possible, so that your work comes up toward the top of the search results.

Re: The Prophet, by Kahlil Gibran, pc

*APPLAUSE!* WELL DONE, MICHELE! The last line, “A little while, a moment of rest upon the wind, and another woman shall bear me,” with your incredibly tender intonation is THE star in the crown of this book. Overall, this was entire book was lovely and lovingly narrated. It is easy to visualize him ...

Here's section 17!

Josh,
Now. That's fluid reading! You glided over difficult phrases and place names!
I got a giggle out of the line " she managed to do,—having been in the sea for nearly half-an-hour."

PL OK!

KaelyMonahan I wonder if the author meant "country"? Thoughts? Kaely Monahan Hi, Kaley! Yes, please read as "country." I think the scan of the text at that word is scratched and so the 'o' looks like an 'a.' Thanks for asking! May the narration flow smoothly for you. *SMILE* Loo...

Oh. And the world "little."
Oh, my my, my. I can say that in at least seven different ways ... three times each, until I get one clear instance of it recorded. *Sigh*

Falassewen Wow, reading all the debate and hard work that goes into making these, I am impressed and amazed. Personally, as a reader, I would never take offense to someone telling me that something sounded distracting. Whether it be an odd pronunciation, strange emphasis, or other. I feel so wonder...

Re: [romance] The Rose-colored World, and Other Fantasies by EM Brodie -ck

Thank you, Carolin.
I carry quite the American Southern accent and have often learned words through reading alone, so my pronunciation is by no means perfect, either.
Learning and correcting that which trips us up is part of the glory and pain of narrating.
I appreciate all you do, as well.

Re: [SOLO] A Deal with the Devil by Eden Phillpotts - dc

Linny, I'm having some issues with editing/downloading chapters 6-9. A solution is in the works, and I should have them uploaded within a couple of days. In the meantime, chapters 10 and 11 are ready; to avoid confusion on my part, I add them now. Please feel free to wait to PL in order. https://lib...
