yes Kri--the fee is very reasonable, considering the time investment involved, but what I am sure people would not like is the charging of a blatantly unreasonable fee for mass profit. This person was very honest and streight forward about his intent, but that does not mean that others will be. If m...

an idea that could help blind volunteers produce recordings.

in theory this idea should work. It occured to me because of what I was talking about in my last post. Perhaps I should conduct my own tests and give some results first? I can't resist blabering for a bit so bare with me. Using a good text to speech engine, one could in theory have it read out the t...

Although I almost took it for granted that everyone who uses the intenret knows about project gutenberg, I had it conclusivly proven to me that many people who should be aware of its existence are completly unaware of its existence. Many in the academia, I beleive, w...

I would first question the quality of its voice recorder and whether the design of the recorder would allow one to make recordings in a comfortable position. I have heard good things about the creative zen line though, but if recording is just an extra feature, you might want to look for something t...

After I got through the book, I asked myself if it was really the case that both recordings did not suit my taste or that I could not bring myself to b...
