Hey gang,

Wendel, that seems to work, the fixed id tags show up here in mplayer. RF's discoveries make sense.

I'd never noticed before, but I've gone back through some of my previous uploads and, sure enough, the tags don't show up in mplayer.

Hmmm, curious. What else might be different? Could be a version issue? I'm using Audacity 1.3.5-beta on ubuntu, what version of Audacity are you using rf (if you're using Audacity of course!)?

Hey Wendel, Not sure what's going on here. I downloaded my file from the link in the magic window and ran it here. In mplayer no tags show up, but in Rhythmbox the tag is there, and the metadata also shows up in Audacity. Exactly the same happens with rf's file, the tags are there in Audacity. What ...

Really? Huh. That's odd as they show up in my copy when I run mplayer. Since I'm not the only one having this problem I guess it's not at my end, I can try uploading again.
