Larry,

I remember a few Christmases (in my youth) like this ...although I always paid my bills.

Carolin,
I would like to claim section 27 .... Dialogue XXVII.
I will be reading the role of Mercury, and I asked reader Eva Davis if she would like to join me in the role of a Modern Fine Lady and she agreed!
Thank you,
Nemo

Ahhhh ... thanks Sonia, that makes sense!
Yes, in my case, the name is African so maybe you are right!

Re: [POETRY]The Poetry of South Africa, Alexander Wilmot -
Kim, Reading your comment above on how "Jan" is pronounced like a "Y", I have a name in a piece I am doing that is "Jalúhsa’s". At least from what I could find on-line it seemed that in Swahili, Zulu and Afrikaners that the "J" is spoken with the "J"...

Re: [POETRY]The Poetry of South Africa, Alexander Wilmot -
Thank you Larry!
You can list me as just "Nemo".
I'm looking forward to doing these (in fact, have one done already)
There is a heart-felt richness in Thomas Pringle's work that still speaks to us today through these poems.
Glad to be aboard!
