Re: One Book a Week Club 2024

I forgot to give an update for my January reading. So I'll do January and February together. In January, I finished : Over Sea, Under Stone , by Susan Cooper. This is the first in a series. I enjoyed it and intend to finish the rest. But I got sidetracked. I'll get back there eventually. Julius Caes...

Re: [SOLO]The Marquis of Lossie, MacDonald-mtf

48-50 are ready!

49 in particular had some drastic volume differences in Malcolm's conversation with Rose. I think those will have been smoothed out in editing, but if you hear any spots where it's still too loud or soft, let me know, and I'll tweak it a bit more.

Re: [HYMNS]The Invalid's Hymn Book-mtf

Thanks, Larry! I will work on cataloguing tomorrow. It's getting late here. It's finally tomorrow! Well, "one thing drives out another," as good old Butterbur so aptly put it. There are a lot of files here to transfer over, but they're all small. So hopefully they won't take too lon...

Re: [OPEN]A Collection of Anglo-Saxon Poetry (The Exeter Book) - kit

At last, here is the Riming Poem!

I won't claim that my pronunciations are all 100% accurate, but overall, I'm pretty pleased with how this turned out. I hope you enjoy it.

section 2 https://librivox.org/uploads/knotyouraveragejo/moonendureth_02_buchan_128kb.mp3 (26:04) Very nicely read. I started to get a hunch about who the old man was around the middle of the conversation. I was glad to realize I'd been right! Looking forward to the next installment. I have one OPT...

9 is PL ok! Thanks again. :D

My solo is another MacDonald: viewtopic.php?t=83037 It has been running in fits and starts for some time, but I really do think this is the last push! I aim to have it done by May.

Ah, thank you for the reminder! I have been focusing on a final push to finish out my long-suffering solo, and I forgot that this section was waiting patiently for me.

Oh, I guess I got confused on the run time for that one and entered the wrong thing. Thanks!

No, I just leave the page numbers for you, in case anything sounds off and you want to check the text. Once they are PL ok, we don't need them.

Re: [SOLO]The Marquis of Lossie, MacDonald-mtf

Two more are ready. I must have been tired when I recorded chapter 45. I kept editing out yawns, and once, there was a whole line that I skipped over in recording, resulting in a nonsense sentence. Which I didn't even notice at the time, and just kept on going. Hopefully the patch isn't too o...
