Could I have Chapters 3-8 please? So many of my favorite moments are in those early chapters and they're fairly short. I may sign up for more later but I'll see how things go. I'm so glad you're organizing this!

The more public domain readings, the better :) ! Thanks for the offer; I think we're aiming to finish about the same time as you will, so if anyone drops out, maybe we can 'borrow' your readings to fill the gaps! And you are going to join us in doing so other readings, aren't you....? Yes of course...

Does Shakespeare do Hotmail or Yahoo? Ha. Well, my little book of Shakesperean sonnets is kind of a cheapo, on the book rack right by the cash register, grab it because you feel like you should have it, type of book, so it likely isn't the expert source! Oh well, at least my recording adds a bit of ...

LOL! Well, I don't have my MLS yet but I'm about halfway there. I knit, embroider, watch movies, play computer games, do bookcrossing, but no cats, I'm allergic to cats. Birds of a feather ...

I could be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure the text of the sonnet is incorrect. According to my book of Shakesperean sonnets and a couple sources on the internet, the text is as follows: Sonnet XXIII As an unperfect actor on the stage Who with his fear is put besides his part, Or some fierce thing rep...

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome! I've already signed up for a chapter of Ulysses. When I'm finished with my P&P, I'll go back through and add the LibriVox stuff and submit it here.

Re: Ulysses, by James Joyce (special rules)

Yea for Joyce! One of the most frustrating and most rewarding writers of all time. I did this in college and still didn't get a lot of it. This should be fun. I volunteer for Ch. 8.

This place is awesome!

I'm a grad student in library science, doing a project on podcasting and decided to start my own. I'd done a paper on the Gutenberg Project and thought it would be fun to do an audiobook from there. So I started doing "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen and after a lot of trial and error ...
