06 PL OK. Another good read. Some scenes are both painful and funny (e.g. lunch with her mother-in-law). On stage with the right actors it could be hysterical.

CH 06-08 PL OK. When HB was commenting on the 80s I had to readjust my brain to not be thinking about the 1980s!

Deborah, You're right about the beginning silence. I'm still relatively new to this but I've noticed that readers seem to always leave a small gap at the beginning of each file. And yes, section does seems clearer. I also just purchased a new microphone (Blue Yeti). I quickly learned how hard it is ...

Deborah, I try to listen to sections as soon as they are posted but sometimes find myself playing catchup on the weekends. I listen while reading the text but only suggest changes if a word substitution substantially changes the meaning of the sentence. This rarely happens in my limited experience. ...
