Re: Accents vs. Mispronunciation
This is all great. Lucretia, this makes me think it is time for a podcast about this. Would some of you who entered into this discussion care to record some segments for the show? It could be exactly what you have been writing here or variations on it. Please think about it. It would be very helpful...

Incredible! Thanks for posting! My favorite so far: She slinked through my door wearing a dress that looked like it had been painted on … not with good paint, like Behr or Sherwin-Williams, but with that watered-down stuff that bubbles up right away if you don’t prime the surface before you slap it ...

Re: What was your first LV listen?
The Man Who Would Be King by Rudyard Kipling read by Philippa (russiandoll) Listened to a few minutes of it and then immediately registered at LibriVox. Went back later that month and listened while driving. Drove around the city a little aimlessly in order to be able to finish the story. One of th...

I'm not quite done listening yet, but Bob, you do impress me every time. And the interview form really works well  Thank you so very much, Nadine! I really appreciate your saying so. :D I loved the interviews in this show, too. I got to try out some new techniques with one of them and I think...

Re: LibriVox 7th Anniversary Podcast
It was really good! A nice mix of information, as well! Honestly, I didn't even know we did a podcast (as ashamed as I am to admit that!). But I am forwarding that info to all of my non-LV friends, just to let them know what goes on in our LV world. It is great advertising! I know it has to be a gr...

02 A Day With Samuel Taylor Coleridge http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/phi/dayswithgreatpoets_02_coleridge.mp3 Duration - 47:36 Whew! Very challenging. But I loved it.
