I started working on PL for section 14. Here's as far as I got: ID Tags: Has chapter title in all caps - should be title case (Can the MC fix this?) Needs noise removal and maybe some amplification - might be too quiet. Can someone else put their ear to this section? I imported it into Audacity and ...

Sections 176 and 179 are PL'd and OK.

(OK, they were more than OK. They were quite enjoyable.)

Sections 2 & 3 edits checked out; OK to catalog.

(Joe - the intros and outtros sounded MUCH better with using the old mike. Great job!)

Any takers on the Greek?

I have a section that includes some longer text in Greek and French. HERE is the book - "The Social History of Smoking" chapter 11. If any Greek or French readers would be willing to just read the following passages, then email me the clip so I can insert it into my reading, that'd be SUPE...

Thanks, Joe! Feel free to proof them by the text (thought-for-thought - a word might be wrong, but if it doesn't change the meaning of the passage, then let it go; if it DOES change the meaning or confuse the listener, let me know) if you would like. If you don't, then don't.

I started to record chapter 11, but it's got a good amount of both Greek and French in it. I am pretty wretched with both those languages.

Either someone else is welcome to claim it, or I'll need LOTS of help to make it sound halfway correct.
