To answer your question about catalogue credit for Chapter 12: Scott is now officially registered. He prefers the catalogue credit to read "Jan MacGillivray with Scott MacGillivray." (He always insists on giving me top billing.) If that isn't possible, "Jan MacGillivray and Scott MacG...

Hello, David--- I'd like to offer an "alternate reading" chapter from "The Burgess Bird Book for Children." I had already submitted Chapter 12, Some Unlikely Relatives: The Cowbird and the Baltimore Oriole, for the in-progress book version. After my husband Scott heard it, he sug...

I've posted the corrected version of Chapter 12, PLUS an alternate version. I'll explain how that happened ... My husband Scott wanted to hear Chapter 12, so I played it for him. He was so delighted with Jenny Wren's high dudgeon that he suggested recording a "duet" version. He loved the i...

"Perfect reading"--- but I blew the TITLE of the BOOK! Just to get it straight: It should be "Chapter 12, Some Unlikely Relatives, the Cowbird and the Baltimore Oriole." And: "The Burgess BIRD Book for Children." Thanks for the feedback and the compliments! (I'm ...

I've uploaded Chapter 12. That Jenny Wren is certainly excitable ... I hope the ham isn't sliced TOO thick ... :)

Hello, Laurie Anne---

Could I read Chapter 12, with the Baltimore Oriole (state bird of my home state) and that despicable Cowbird?

Our dear friend Norman, who passed away in 1996, was a lifelong Thornton Burgess fan, so this chapter is for him.

Thanks---

New from Massachusetts

Hello, all --- :) I've been lurking for a few weeks and finally registered. I may be a bit premature, as I'm interested in recording but don't know when I will find the opportunity. I work full-time and don't have a lot of quiet time in which to record and edit, but sometime--- it may be days, weeks...
