51 is PLOK. Thanks Rita. Several women I never heard of in this chapter. I looked up Sophia Petrofsky on Bing and Edge, and could find nothing on her. I would love to know how she did in the Czar! Michele, I think this is her. Different spelling of last name. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S...

Re: [GROUP] Four Hundred Years of Freethought, Part I, by Samuel P. Putnam - rap
Our Covid cases are mild. Definitely the weirdest colds and coughs we’ve ever had. Last night I belted out 3 simultaneous sneezes so loud and fast, Roy thought I was screaming 🤧🤧🤧 We had regular checkups scheduled for tomorrow. Canceled those, of course. The lady at the scheduling desk said that the...

I haven’t had a chance to record my sections yet. Was all set to do it during the weekend. That’s when I had my “cold” problem. Turns out it’s actually a “Covid” problem. Roy has it, too. Oh well, at least we managed to avoid it until now. Hope to be back recording with a healthy voice soon.

Re: ZOOM Discussion Thread
I plan to be on the Zoom session today, but will be muted most of the time. Spent yesterday and part of this morning sneezing and coughing. I feel ok, but can’t say much without sneezing. I don’t want to spread any electronic germs.

Well, I'm confused about the Roman numerals. When the Chapter is shown in Roman numerals as XXX, we're supposed to say "Chapter ex ex ex" instead of Chapter 30?That seems very cumbersome to me.
Our maybe I misunderstood.

One of my favorite books/movie is “The Yearling”. I haven’t actually read it that many times (three, maybe). I may have seen the movie four times. There is a very nice YouTube video from 2021 about the movie with Claude Jarman, Jr., who played Jody in the film.

Thanks to Peter Dann (The Banjo) for his recording of "Chance" by Joseph Conrad. Excellent story and another great reading by Mr. Dann of a Conrad book.

I enjoyed listening to “There’s Laughter in the Air! Radio’s Top Comedians and Their Best Shows.” A very interesting, well done account of the era of radio programs in the 1930s and 40s and how these programs came to be. Thanks to all LibriVox volunteers involved: Chuck Williamson, Phil Chenevert, D...
