Re: [FULL] Love's Labour's Lost by William Shakespeare - kit

Note to Tomas,

I was waiting for your PL of Holerfernes in 4_2. I went with an unusual voice, and I was hoping for an opinion before I do any more files.
Hope I don't sound too impatient lol

Re: [SOLO] David Copperfield, Version # by Charles Dickens - icequeen

Okay, as promised, the next three chapters are ready for PL.

Just as a note, at 30:15 of Chapter 45, the same phrase gets repeated twice. It is David mulling over the words in his mind. It occurred to me that during PL it might sound like I accidentally read the same passage twice.

Re: [SOLO] David Copperfield, Version # by Charles Dickens - icequeen

I've made the corrections in 40 and 42, and the next three chapters will be ready soon. I've obviously got to stop promising when I'm getting things done, as my "real life" schedule has been constantly changing. This project has taken way too long, and I'm annoyed at myself for putting it ...

Re: [FULL] Love's Labour's Lost by William Shakespeare - kit

Makes sense. So in the Holofernes scene, I already recorded, I had him do the same before his alliterative poem.

Re: [FULL] Love's Labour's Lost by William Shakespeare - kit

Okay, my first few files are done. My character list, the one scene for the French Lord, and one file each for my other two characters. I thought I'd mix them up a bit instead of recording one entire role first. https://librivox.org/uploads/kitty/loveslabourslost_voicecredits_brad.mp3 https://libriv...

Re: [FULL] Love's Labour's Lost by William Shakespeare - kit

Longaville and Jacquenetta in 4_3 are perfect.

I like Sonia clearing her throat before Longaville reads the poem.

I'm going to try to submit some of my files later tonight.

Re: [FULL] Love's Labour's Lost by William Shakespeare - kit

I'm going to get started on this tomorrow. I noticed my two main characters have a brief exchange with each other in the long scene as Biron mocks Holofernes's performance, but I've already decided on an unusual voice for the latter whereas Biron will basically be my usual voice with a British accen...

Re: [FULL] Love's Labour's Lost by William Shakespeare - kit

Reporting for duty! I see our text has the longer version of Biron's (Birowne's) speech in 4_3. Most modern texts cut it down a bit since there is some repetition and it's believed that at some point two texts were added together. But that's not a problem for me, even though it makes it the longest ...

Re: OPEN[PLAY]Faire Em by Shakespeare - thw

I can read Manville, if you want.
I know I never did get my role read in a previous play, but it will get priority from me this time.

Re: [FULL] Henry V by William Shakespeare - kit

I know we'll be doing a comedy or a tragedy before we jump into the Henry VI plays, but I'm kind of looking forward to tackling them, partly because they are so complicated with multiple storylines happening at once. Not to mention the vast number of characters which is going to make casting a littl...

Kelly forgot to say king and I didn't notice it? Sorry about that. I have failed as a PL person!
Or maybe I'm just human lol

"A very contextual act with a lot of background for the reason of the war. Admittedly not the most exciting one, but interesting as a display of court intrigue and influence."

Yes, well, it's all building up to a nice friendly game of tennis, isn't it?

After another long delay, I'm finally back at work on this. I miss the days when I submitted sections every few days.
