So, how can I make the volume louder in Chapter 2? I can't figure out a way in Garage Band or in iTunes. Do I need to re-record it? Edited -- I reimported the track into Garage Band, raised all the volume sliders (except the mic one, which I figured would make no difference until I have to re-record...

I have completed #19 (The Story of Pretty Goldilocks). I had some problems with background noise (cars going past, snow on the skylight), so let me know if anything is too obnoxious. I'll re-record any sections necessary. Also, there was a French(?) name at the end of the story, as if a footnoted so...

This is my first poem -- my first weekly poetry, too -- for LibriVox, which I just discovered last night. Thank you for the chance to read such a lovely poem. http://www.mediafire.com/?0nanmg14iwd I did start a solo project earlier today, so I think my information should be in the List of Readers' C...

I have finished recording chapter two. I'm listening now to check for glitches, then will upload it and edit the window shortly. ETA: I'm uploading now. I've done something that lowered the volume of chapter 2 significantly from where it was while I was recording it -- not sure what happened. If it ...

Thanks for the welcome. I do love reading poetry, so I think I'll check out that forum. As to soloing, I enjoy children's literature (spent 3 years selling kids' books), so I was looking at which Louisa M. Alcott and E. Nesbitt titles have already been recorded. I know you don't mind duplicates, but...

Finally! I found you!
Hi! I've read before, for a service for the blind and disabled, but I've had a hard time finding a bricks-and-mortar place to volunteer as a reader since moving to the New York City area. I'm glad I stumbled across LibriVox on the internet. I only have GarageBand and my Mac's internal mic at home (n...
