I have three recommendations:
James K. White's reading of Matthew Lewis' The Monk
Margaret Espaillat's reading of Harry Leon Wilson's Merton of the Movies
Mark F. Smith's reading of Mark Twain's The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn

Gah! I screwed up. I accidentally read the flubbed line in Act I and will have to redo that line. I suppose I should have been less of a berserker and read your notes a little more carefully. Alas, you'll have to wait a moment before I can re-record the Act I sound files. But here's the rest of 'em....

Re: ~[Humor] The Toys of War by Saki -lz
Would you mind if I took Mark? I might read more later, but I'm working through a backlog this morning. At any rate, Mark might be a good test run for more Saki down the road.

Unless this project is striving for accent accuracy (because who doesn't want Londoners to talk like they're from the Mid-West?), I wouldn't mind taking a role. I'm looking at John Purdie in particular, as he seems to be a pretty fun character. But again, I can't do accents--so I'll understand if yo...

If you don't mind me taking a third role (and if you can wait until tomorrow morning), I'd be happy to take the role of First Citizen.

Re: Copyright and archive.org
Well the short answer is NO Anyone can upload anything to Archive - if you do you are asked only to share things that you have a right to share - but they are not checked. And they stay there till someone complains and are then taken down (sometimes). So you would need to have pretty good evidence ...

Copyright and archive.org
Quick question--should we presume that all of the material made available on archive.org is public domain? I ask this because I want to read a series of short stories about Hollywood published in an early film magazine called Photoplay . Several issues of this magazine are archived on this website, ...

I'll take an officer and/or patrician, if either is available. I'm pretty flexible, really. You can't be picky about parts when you're brand new. Hello, Chuck, and welcome to LibriVox! I'd be happy for you to read both the Officer and the Patrician and will put you down for both roles. Since I don'...

If you're still looking for someone to do chapter 8 (and possibly 11), I'd be up for it. Ya know, provided I'm deemed worthy of recording (still haven't gotten feedback on my sound test, but fingers crossed and all that). Anyway, I'm volunteering... if you're interested.

Greetings from the Mid-West
Hey gang. I've been a follower of LibriVox for some time, and am looking forward to finally volunteering with the rest of you folks. I am excited about the prospect of collaborating on many of LibriVox's ongoing projects and spearheading a few of my own passion projects. In particular, I am interest...

Re: [POETRY] Short Poetry Collection 104 - gu
Hey guys. This is my first recording with LibriVox, so feel free to let me know if I'm doing anything wrong. This is, to some extent, just a test run before I start recording longer projects. I'll record another poem for this collection if this one is deemed worthy of inclusion. "The Travelling...
