Re: Short Nonfiction Collection, Vol. 064 - jo

Sue, Craig, Thank you both so much for the feedback. I'll make the necessary adjustment and get this thing right. I dont think I still have my one minute test, I remember I did one when I joined the site briefly years ago. I was surprised my computer still had audacity and, at least by the standards...

Most if not all branches of the U.S. Government have archives of documents available on the internet. Here is a link to the State Dept, Office of the Historian, a trove of historical documents on line: https://history.state.gov/historicaldocuments
Sweet, thanks!

Re: Short Nonfiction Collection, Vol. 064 - jo

perfect! I'll get on those in the coming days. Is there a bigger archive of periodicals and government publications? I'd like to do more of these short non fics but Project Gutenberg's collection is so limited these were the only ones I was interested in. It would be really cool if there were an arc...

Hi all! I was interesting in a few letters from the Eisenhower administration https://www.gutenberg.org/files/16142/16142-h/16142-h.htm and this magazine's coverage of the Boxer Rebellion (can I do that? a stand alone article instead of the whole magazine?) https://www.gutenberg.org/files/28712/2871...

Re: Ti-Ping Tien-Kwoh, by Augustus F. Lindley (Vol. I + II)

well noted, the honesty is appreciated and refreshing, I'm gonna cut my teeth on some short historical things for practice first and come back to this when I think I'm ready. I think I'll do a few letters from Eisenhower https://www.gutenberg.org/files/16142/16142-h/16142-h.htm and this magazine's c...

Re: [TRAVEL] The Travels of Ibn Batuta by Ibn Batuta - tg

Well noted! If a chapters open I'll do it, and try and do justice to it, might take me a while as I'm a bit of a novice and I'll want to take time to do it right. 2 weeks tops, of listening to other chapters to ensure consistency in my own, and of course, editing.

Please let me know if this project requires any assistance or if there are any other books (particularly non fiction) to do with Asia I could vo...
