Re: Any Russian-speaking readers around?

Hi!
Is there anybody who can quickly find if any of the mentioned above projects were complete, e.i. Ушкуйники, Lermontov, Prutkov?
I'm just curious.

Re: A new PL and maybe a reader has come)

Hello, Hanna! It's great to have you on board. :) It's a familiar feeling. I spent half a year PLing before I plucked up the courage to record something, but now that I did, I can't seem to stop. You may want to consider starting by contributing to one of our short works collections. We've ju...

John, I'll learn my lesson and won't comment on such minor things any more doing Standard PL.
Sorry for bothering.

Re: ~[FICTION] The House by the Churchyard by Sheridan Le Fanu - tg

John, If I'm not mistaken, the phrase "I think—at least, I think—till lately—" should be said like this I think [pause] at least, I think [pause] till lately [pause] <…> Now we're missing the second pause. The girl seems to be ashamed and unsure, because something has happened in near past...

Re: ~[FICTION] The House by the Churchyard by Sheridan Le Fanu - tg

Chapter 36. PL OK. There is a minor difference between the text and the recording around 6:58. The text says: "I think—at least, I think—till lately...", we have "I think at least - I think - till lately...", but it doesn't change the meaning, I reckon, so possible editing is up ...

Re: ~ [WAR FICTION] Taras Bulba by Gogol - availle

Thanks, Anne and Hanna for the listening and feedback. I will look into levelling. Re 32bit/16bit, I've learned how to put the software in 16bit mode and will do so for future projects. But everything went silent on the existing recordings so I'll leave that as it is if it's not a problem for you. ...

Re: ~ [WAR FICTION] Taras Bulba by Gogol - availle

PL notes for Sec 10. The recording in general is too low (83 dB, but the standard is 89 dB +-3dB). It's 32bit instead of 16bit. Not sure if it is important. The reading is very passionate  Notes for MC: I suggest to add the author's name to the intro . We have just "Gogol", but the...
