From the book description, sounds like it could become my favorite of his novels too. Thank you for your comment a while back, WYSIWYG. I hope it won't be too much longer before you may peruse this book on your long travels. The end is finally creeping into sight! Though now when I get back to teac...

Re: SOLO - In the Mayor's Parlour by J.S. Fletcher-ans
6-7 PL OK. Richard J Daley served as mayor for 21 years until his death while in office (actually while in his doctor's office). His son, Richard M Daley served for 22 years, declining to run for another term, in part because of the death from cancer of his wife. Were it not for the slight differen...

Slow and no column for books listed at https://librivox.org/. Probably a busted HTML code in the page.

Re: Expedition to the Shores of the Arctic Sea by John Rae -
I can sympathize (singer); I like to save Arctic trips for summer,, so no rush on my account! (Never rush thru a voice problem! )pschempf wrote:WYSIWYG-
I've been having some voice issues, but hopefully they will clear up soon and I can get on with Rae's journey. Glad you're enjoying it.

Peter Yes, I always love another window into the lives of the people strug...
