I have finished an initial, unedited recording of my chosen story and it runs an hour and 24 minutes. Considering your request to try and stick to works under an hour, I am wondering if this is unacceptably long?

Yes, the story is written in English and set in NY state.

Your pronunciations were ones I considered and waffled on using and I do agree with your reasoning.

I have these two names in my story:

Van Broecklyn (van brecklin)
Spielhagen (speel - hah - gen) (g as in girl)

The phonetic spelling in brackets after the name is my guess but I would like alternatives if you think I'm wrong. Or even confirmation if you think I'm right.
