Welcome Jessica. If you are not stuck on Garage band, I'd highly recommend using Audacity. As Piotrek mentioned, there are far more audacity users and MANY who have converted from GB to audacity. GB is ok for music but has some strange things going on with the longer book file we have here. Esther :)

Unfortunately, my car stereo will not play mp3 CD's so I load the books on my little mp3 player that plugs in...
