Re: OPEN[PLAY]The Bores by Moliere - thw

I just noticed the introductory material you mentioned is about 1500 words - should that be a separate file? (This is after I deleted out the footnotes).

And I will take over any of the Belles of Canturbury parts that have been orphaned. "Junior" is my first choice, but any would be cool!

Thank you! It's great that you're taking the time to comment on our performance, and not just technical details.

I'll take animal substances (#6), too, and then you'll be 100%!

(A friend of mine is super into perfumes, but I'm practically scent-blind. This is my attempt at understanding a tiny bit of her world.)

Re: [PLAY]If I Had a Father, by George MacDonald - kit

Zher-vez it is! (Unless someone tells me differently.) I want to knock out this last "perfumes and their preparation" chapter and start my ones on Feathered Game and Poultry before I start my stage-direction sections, so I'll have a day or two for others to weigh in.

Re: OPEN[PLAY]The Bores by Moliere - thw

Only 5 have been pronounced more in the Italian way, pronounced with a final syllable '–tee', while French should be a mute ‘e’
I think I know why my pronunciation wavered -- Greek! In greek, everything is voiced, and Orante as a name made me think of Orestes, and then bam! confuso-brain.

Re: [PLAY]If I Had a Father, by George MacDonald - kit

Will do! Edited to ask: Do you want me to do a Dramatis Personae list? "Arthur Gervaise, read by .... " ? There isn't one in the text, but I can assemble one from the list of parts in the magic window. Also - is the name "Gervaise" pronounced to rhyme with "her MAZE" or...

Cool - here's my name test - https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/thebores_name-check.mp3 (0:33) -- the one that I couldn't decide on pronunciation at all was "FILINTE"

Re: OPEN[PLAY]The Bores by Moliere - thw

Cool -- I PM'd Kitty with name questions. Is it ok if I upload as if it's a normal part of the play an audio file with me test-pronouncing each name, and post the link here?

Re: FULL [DRAM.READ] The Betrothed by Manzoni - kd

If you need a female voice for any missing characters or parts, I can do them. I was the Abess, and surprised this was still in my ReaderSections screen, so I wanted to help wrap it up! (My semester doesn't start for a few weeks, so I can be fast.)

Re: OPEN[PLAY]The Bores by Moliere - thw

I'll take Stage Directions . Does that also include the preface? I saw to skip footnotes. Any other specifics to note? I'll do my best with pronouncing the characters' names, but I'm always open to correction. (I had some French, Latin, and Greek ages ago in school, so I can normally make reasonable...
