I would like to start reading the ninth section of this project, being November 8, '76 – The Oaks and I. This will be my first LibriVox work, but I am confident and fairly gung-ho.
Welcome aboard! Thanks.

I finally finished "Mary Hamilton" today!
Far from the Joan Baez version.
I had to shorten it a bit cause the acutal version is 7 minutes if I sing all the verses.

It looks like you're real close to having this one done; if you're not fully subscribed yet, I could speak or sing The Bold Fisherman http://www.traditionalmusic.co.uk/song-midis/Bold_Fisherman.htm It's a fun one I always liked as a kid and my son loves it too! I'll let Linda get back to you, but I *think* as long as a ballad is PD in the US, you're okay. :)

-Catharine
They're both PD. The first one is published in 1915 and the second one dates back centuries.

It's on her debut album, the one with the high-contrast B&W photo. I have it in vinyl at home, will check the fine print on the sleeve after work. My favourite from that one is "Silver Dagger". Here is the Wikipedia page on Baez's debut album "Joan Baez." http://en.wikipedia...
