The folder permissions are set to 755, or read and execute for Owner, Group, and Public, and write for only Owner. This is what they have been all along.

That page would then automatically update whenever anything was added to the folder. Just wond...

The access is restricted. Here is an example of a folder for a project that I am coordinating. It is forbidden to access like this. I could make a page and manually add the links and that would work but it would be a lot of work.

I think if I read that one chapter as well then I would be a little put off too. You should try the whole book. It is pretty good.
