Thank you so much, Sonia! It’s so nice to hear you say that!!

Thank you again!

Re: OPEN[DRAM.READ] Count of Monte Cristo by Alex. Dumas-mas

Hi, can i just check the google doc in chapter 33? The part with Carlini and Rita’s father at: Then, extending his hand, the old man said; 'I thank you, my son; and now leave me alone.'—'Yet'—replied Carlini.—'Leave me, I command you.' Carlini obeyed, rejoined his comrades... The ‘Leave me, I comman...

Re: OPEN[DRAM.READ] Count of Monte Cristo by Alex. Dumas-mas

Hi! I'm pretty new to recording so I would like maybe to claim a short role. Maybe 168 Carlini?
Do I have to maintain a roughly male voice for the character and do I only record the dialogue and leave a few seconds of silence in between?
Thank you!

Re: [OPEN]World's Story 4: Greece and Rome - kit

Hello! I was recording section 45 and I think there's a typo in the text? The character's name Caius Marcius was spelt wrong in the first line (I think) because it's spelt differently in later passages and I did a quick google search to confirm it. Is it alright if I change the pronunciation to the ...

Re: [OPEN]World's Story 4: Greece and Rome - kit

hello Fishfish :) welcome to the forum and thanks for your interest in this project. Great that you started with a one-minute-test. I'm a bit pressed for time right now, but if by tomorrow no one has given you feedback yet, I will take a look. Pending that, I can reserve you a section already. You ...

Re: [OPEN]World's Story 4: Greece and Rome - kit

Hi! I would like to try out recording the 'When Coriolanus spared Rome' or 'The emperor Nero on the stage' or 'Peace with the Goths or war' section please? I'm new, in fact I haven't passed my one-minute recording yet, but I submitted my audio file. I saw there are reserved places so I thought to tr...

Hi! I’m new too!

I am a sixth form student from the UK (for USA, I am in the last two years of high school) and I am studying, in particular, philosophy and classics! I’m not too sure how everything works around here yet, but I’m happy to start working!
