Re: Can't find a link

As far as I know, The Prophet was originally written in English and published in 1923. Its US copyright was renewed in 1951, and hence it will not enter the public domain in the USA until 1 Jan 2019. As copyright has not yet expired on the original English version, I don't see how any translation ca...

Re: 'Thank You' messages for LibriVox readers - continued

Having listened to so many of RG's recordings, I am taking the liberty of departing from the standard form requested of these thank-you emails. And I am so glad he or she did! As some of you will be aware, I have been MIA for most of the last few months and am really looking forward to being well e...

Re: Bloopers - 2

As far as I know, I have been able to reinstate all blooper links except those which were uploaded to the dev server in Aug/Sept 2013. If any other links in this thread don't work, let me know.

Re: What's the most interesting PL note you've seen/written?

They are all uploaded now, and links on the thread have been changed up to page 22 so far.
EDIT: All links that can be reinstated have now been updated.

The purring cat has been reinstated!

Re: What's the most interesting PL note you've seen/written?

If you want to listen to the bloopers , start about 2 years ago - the early links won't work nowadays
I think I saved all the old bloopers when we moved servers. I will reupload them and change the links in the old thread when I have the time and energy. They are too good to lose.

Young's Night Thoughts.

I'd love it if someone did. I just doubt it will happen.

Re: Should you use old pronunciations in old poems?

Well now, I have just shocked myself! Having for my entire life pronounced "grimace" as GRIM-iss, I just looked it up in the trusty OED and it tells me I should have been pronouncing it ɡrɪˈmeɪs/ (grim-ACE) all along... With regard to your question, I myself prefer to keep the scansion cor...

Re: Bengali Recordings

I think you have had very good advice in your other thread, Hope :). If the original poster in this one is still about (he last logged in a few weeks ago), then he may see your question.

Re: Audiobook File (M4B) Availability & Production! - cont.

Not the end of the world if the M4B doesn't get replaced but section 8 of https://librivox.org/short-story-collection-012/ has been replaced owing to a repeat.
