Thank you! Do you use Audacity ? It has a good noise-cleaning function which I use all the time. Do you know how to do it ? If not I can give you a step-by-step. No need! Yes I use Audacity and yes I know how to noise-clean. I was more worried about a short section with some noticable beeps or bird ...

I did record Ch 2 today but it was awful, so I'll have another go tomorrow.

Changes all made (I hope!). You can hear they've been edited in which is a pity, but I did all I could with noise reduction and amplification to get it as close as I could.
