Re: Friendly Contest: Guess the 2020 Project Total

Let's get this straight now... one of us doesn't contribute a verse to the Piper, like everyone who entertained the remotest possibility of losing has done, and now of all people she's declared...

Re: LibriVox monthly statistics

As the winner of the recent contest, your guess is better than mine  Was... ;) But if I were to guess? Knowing what LVers are like when there's a neat number to reach, I wouldn't be surprised to see it happen. Still it would take 1168, which would be second only to the 2020 record. And none of...

Re: LibriVox monthly statistics

Number of completed projects 14832
We should easily reach 15000 by February or March sometime... Any possibility of 16000 by the end of 2021? Your guess is as good as mine! :)

Re: Friendly Contest: Guess the 2020 Project Total

But before I go back to my cave, let me just say that if we'd had a November like the December we just had, our total would be 1370 and I would have won.... Thanks, Todd Apparently you forgot about the 'holiday slump' when you carefully computed your guess... I always wondered how you ended up with...

I don't think this has quite reached the catalog yet... :hmm: At least the link takes me to the first page of the thread rather than to the catalog. :?:

Re: [group] The White Czar: A Story of a Polar Bear - philc

So who is this project waiting for? Confirmation from me that all is PL OK? Or confirmation from Mina that she's OK with leaving in her section? Or a time slot for Phil to work on it? :hmm:

All clear from my perspective...

Re: Tagalog books

I'm not involved in that project, just happened to see it earlier today. I'd suggest first posting in the thread that you're willing to proof listen (providing you decide you want to), then the MC there can help you out. Sections 5 & 6 are the only ones that are ready to be listened to just now....

Re: Tagalog books

First step is to read the instructions here: https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Guide_for_Proof-listeners so that you know what to look for. I always download the files I plan to listen to and run them through Checker first to make sure the volume and everything is correct. Many people prefer...
