Re: [SOLO] Stalky & Co (More Stories) by Rudyard Kipling - s

Y'all: I am starting to feel snakebitten on this project, which for all the stuff I've worked on here at LV, is really giving me a complex! Once again, I thought this one was finished, but when I came back and checked the MB, my entries didn't appear. OK. I'm willing to chalk that one up to "Ma...

Re: [SOLO] Nicholas Nickleby by Charles Dickens - al

Whew! That is great news. Hooray. I am officially signing off on NN. Well done, my dear friend. All of your narrations have all been great, but may I venture an opinion for anyone interested and say that this is, indeed, your best effort to date (and I'm not just saying that because I ...

Re: [SOLO] Nicholas Nickleby by Charles Dickens - al

Mil and Arielle: I owe both of you a huge apology. I am so sorry for mixing up the comments in Chapters 12 and 27, and thus for delaying the conclusion of this book. Moreover, I should have caught this earlier. I know you are on your way out the door for your vacation, Mil, and I know this is a huge...

There we go--the remainder of the book is posted!

I'll check the fixed chapters and we'll be done. I loved listening to this book, my friend. I hope many, many other people do also. Thanks for doing this!.

Re: [SOLO] Nicholas Nickleby by Charles Dickens - al

Dear Mil:

In Chapter 46, at 19:13 there is a slight stumble: "...lest he finding how easy ..." Stumble is on
"finding." I wouldn't point it out to anyone else, but since you never stumble, I thought I'd give you the opportunity to change it if you want. :D

Re: [SOLO] Nicholas Nickleby by Charles Dickens - al

PL notes are up through Chapter 40. I've had to go back and listen to Chapter 41 a second time, it's so good!

Terrific job as always, my friend.

Re: [SOLO] Nicholas Nickleby by Charles Dickens - al

Mil, my friend: I forgot to post yesterday--the PLing is complete through Chapt. 34 and posted. Gasp! I actually found a couple of potential things! And here I thought you were perfect. Of course, I could be wrong and they belong there. At any rate, I am thoroughly enjoying this experience, a...

Re: [LITERATURE] Ulysses by James Joyce - ge

Karen: OK. I went back and listened again. The dog barking is still there, but not as loud as I remembered. It did get my dogs to raise their heads this time, but I've heard a lot worse background noises in files and we've left them in. I do have very sensitive hearing (it makes me good for this job...

Karen:

I'm sorry I haven't answered you sooner. Have you checked the time markers I put in the MB? 22:14-22:22? I've double checked this. I'm not listening through earphones. See if you can't hear it.

If not, we'll get Gesine on it to arbitrate. Thanks.

I can't find any of the MB's of the few books I'm working on. I was afraid maybe someone had raptured
all the LV books! :D

Miss Mil:

I've almost caught up with you. Poor Kate--such afflictions! And don't you just want to slap Mrs. Nickelby?
