Hiya,

I wasn't sure whether we put our hands up prior to sending it to claim a spot, or what, so I thought I'd post and I'm sure you'll let me know if I've done it wrong :D

I'd like to submit "My Country", by Dorothea Mackellar and should have it available within the week.

G'day from the land of Aus.

Well, I've been here a couple of weeks, about time I introduced myself! I live in Brisbane (Australia) and will be moving to a farm in Northern New South Wales later this year. I can't wait. I'd be gone tomorrow if I could! I found LibriVox when I was looking for audio books to listen to while I dri...

I'm in Brissie now, but moving down near Evans Head (to a farm) later this year.

Guys,

I'd love to take a part. Any part. You choose.

I'm a girly person  but, I've got quite a deep voice, I am happy to send you a sample if you'd rather 'try before you buy'...

I'd be happy to take a recurring part, as Shakespeare is a passion of mine...

OK, I've finally got my microphone working so I'm throwing my hat into a few interesting rings.

May I please have a chapter or two?

Surprise me which.

LM, I think it'd be fantastic to have some of the classic Russian stuff done in Russian. You can put me down for a chapter of something if you decide to. My Russian is Russty, and I might have to read the chapter over a couple of times before I record, but I'd give it a go! My 'preliminary' list of ...

Oooh, this one looks interesting.

I'm listening to Northanger Abbey at the moment, and must admit to having been fascinated by this Udolpho thing!

Please slot me in for section 56 please, if it's not already gone...

OK, I'm only relatively new here, but I had to ask, are there any chapters either unassigned, or requiring reassignment?

If there are, I'd LOVE to do one or two...

Well, if there are any muffins left, I'll take #'s 15 and 34, if I may?

I've downloaded Audacity, just have to get a microphone that works on my laptop, I'll do that on the weekend, and then I'm away!

Thanks!!!

You're probably right about that being the solution, but I"m not quite sure how it could be the source of the problem?

Thanks fae, but they're unzipped already... They're all individual sections of the original file. Still won't work :( As I said, they play just fine on my computer, I suspect they'd play fine on a standard MP3 player, but my phone sees them as MPEG files! Maybe I need to give up and get a standard M...
